In the past few days, X (formerly Twitter), Tesla, and SpaceX boss, Elon Musk has been accused by several progressives of allegedly being antisemitic, which he repeatedly denied in the strongest terms.

To prove to everyone he was not an antisemite, he announced his plan to visit Israel next week, where he would visit towns near the Gaza border, especially the kibbutzim Hamas attacked on October 7.

Israeli media reported that his other agenda in the country was to meet with President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Musk and Netanyahu previously met in California last September to discuss a wide range of issues including antisemitism on social media and its implications for freedom of speech, the Iranian threat, the consequences of artificial intelligence, and his coalition's controversial judicial overhaul legislation.

The X boss also announced earlier this week that his social media platform would be "donating all revenue from advertising & subscriptions associated with the war in Gaza to hospitals in Israel," as well as a humanitarian organization operating in Gaza.

Musk's Antisemitism Issue

It was previously reported that the row between Musk and several X users began after he responded to an X user's alleged accusations that Jews pushed hatred against white people, saying he was "deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest s*** now about western Jewish populations," realizing that "minorities that support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much."

Musk also supposedly criticized the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for "unjustly attack[ing] the majority of the West" despite its support to Israel and Jewish people. He also claimed that all accusations about him being an antisemite were "bogus"

Such comments garnered responses from the White House, ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, and X CEO Linda Yaccarino, who made a clarificatory post.

To make matters worse, the progressive liberal media watchdog Media Matters for America has, according to Musk, "exploited" X's features of allowing users to control the content they see on their feed by creating a secret account designed to evade normal safeguards, as well as manipulating "every aspect of the system through which posts and advertisements appear, ultimately creating the side-by-side images of objectionable content and advertisements."

For this, Musk announced that X would file a lawsuit against Media Matters. Shortly after, the state of Texas launched its own investigation of Media Matters for its reports on ads next to antisemitic posts.
