An Italian court has handed down a landmark verdict in what has become the country's largest mafia trial in three decades.

Over 200 members of the notorious 'Ndrangheta crime syndicate have been sentenced to a total of 2,200 years in prison, marking a significant blow to the criminal organization, as per CNN.
