Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Gene Bollea, is returning to the WWE. The 59-year-old wrestler will make his big debut during WWE's "Monday Night Raw" on Feb. 24, which airs live at 8 pm. On USA Network, a press release states.
Hulk Hogan will also host WrestleMania XXX in April.
"We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE," WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon said in the press release. "It's fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and usher in a new era with the launch of WWE Network."
The last time Hulk was seen in WWE was in 2007 during the SummerSlam PPV, which ended in him losing the match to fellow WWE wrestler Randy Orton. According to TMZ, Hulk has already been training at the WWE Performance Center in Florida to prepare for his return.
It's not clear if he'll be in a full wrestling match but a source said "he plans to get physical," TMZ writes.
"Words cannot express how excited I am to be back in the WWE family," Hogan added. "I only have one question for the WWE Universe: whatcha gonna do when Hulkmania runs wild as the host of WrestleMania 30?"
His return to wrestling will happen at the same time the WWE Network is launched. Jon Cena announced the online network will go live on Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. Recently, WWE revealed the list of programs offered on the new channel.
According to their website, it will air Pre-shows and count downs to a reality show and Hall of Fame inductions. 14 different program options will be available including WrestleMania XXX, WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and NXT ArRival. You can check out a full list here.
