The Hollywood heavyweight triumphantly makes his first public appearance since his recent hospitalization. The talented actor, known for his magnetic performances and infectious charm, was spotted waving to fans from a boat, showcasing his resilience and determination to bounce back.

As per a report by Deadline, the renowned actor was aboard a boat on the Chicago River, wherein he optimistically greeted onlookers who were ecstatic with his much-awaited comeback.

According to an exclusive story by TMZ, recent footage shows that Foxx is now cheerful after suffering from a medical complication. The entertainment news outlet says the actor looks vibrant and happy as he waved back to his lovely fans.

Besides the Oscar-winning actor, who looked healthy and happy, other guests are onboard the vessel, which seemingly includes some of his family members.

As Variety reports, Foxx's daughter, Corinne, confirmed her father's hospitalization in April but did not provide any details about his condition. She only disclosed that his dad suffered from a "medical complication." She said that he was "already on his way to recovery" and that the family appreciated "your prayers."

When Foxx was hospitalized at Atlanta Hospital, he was in the middle of filming his upcoming Netflix film entitled 'Back in Action,' in which he stars alongside Cameron Diaz.

Apart from his upcoming film, he also hosts the Fox game show "Beat Shazam." However, due to his abrupt hospitalization, Nick Cannon took over as its guest host. Yet, Fox and his daughter Corrine are gearing up to work on another music-themed game show. It is set to see the light of day in 2024.
