Videos of the incident show that an unknown object seemingly stuck the eye of the beloved heartthrob and former One Direction star while he was performing at the Ernst Happel Stadion in Austria on July 8, Saturday.

Styles recently found himself on the receiving end of an unexpected blow during his electrifying concert in Vienna. A fan, whose motives remain unclear, threw an object at our beloved Harry, leaving him with a nasty surprise right in the eye.
According to TMZ, a video captured the moment when chaos erupted at the Vienna concert. As Harry effortlessly charmed the crowd with his smooth vocals, an unidentified fan decided to make her presence known in the most outrageous way possible.
The incident occurred as Styles was walking across the stage during his performance. With a swift throw, an object whizzed through the air, landing square on our favorite heartthrob's precious face. The unknown object hit the left eye of the dashing heartthrob.
After the fan threw the object, TMZ reported that Styles continued with the show, but it was clear that he was in pain. The former One Direction star looks in pain as he places his hands on his face. However, he seemingly ignored the discomfort as he went on with the concert as if nothing happened.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time that a fan-thrown object has hit Styles.
According to the Rolling Stones, he was hit in the eye by a Skittle candy thrown by a fan during his Love on Tour concert in Los Angeles last year, or on November 2022, to be precise.
Rolling Stones also notes that Styles' fans are fond of throwing various objects amid his performances, such as chicken nuggets and flowers.

Fans Throwing Objects During Concerts

In the realm of pop superstardom, where fame and adoration often go hand in hand, encounters with overzealous fans can take an unexpected turn. Apart from Styles, other music artists are also victims of fans recklessly throwing items during their sets.
The trend of fans throwing objects at performers has increased in recent months. Just last month, or in June 2023, Bebe Rexha was hit in the head with a phone during a concert in New York City.
The singer-songwriter grappled with stitches after sustaining an injury. The suspect, Nicolas Malvagna, reportedly told the Manhattan District Attorney's office that he aimed her with a phone since he thought it would be funny.
As NME reports, P!nk and Lil Nas X were also victims of similar encounters. The latter even had to stop his Stockholm show after someone threw a sex toy.
