Lamar Odom still thinks there's a chance he can work things out with Khloe Kardashian. During a press conference on Feb. 21 for his new basketball team he said that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star will "always" be his wife, even if they do get a divorce, US Weekly reports.

"I love my wife. She'll always be my wife, no matter what," he said.

After months of trying to save her troubled marriage, Kardashian filed for divorce in December. The two had been married for four years.

"Who knows? We don't know exactly if [the divorce is going through]," he continued. "Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife."

Odom admitted that he made mistakes in his marriage but said marrying the reality TV star was one of the greatest moments in his life.

"Those were some of the best years of my life," he said. "Being married and being married to a woman I decided to marry was, besides having children, the most important thing in my life."

"We all have regrets, but the thing is to learn from life. There's no one in this room, no one in this world who can say, 'I'm mistake-free, I have made no mistakes,'" he added. "If you can introduce me to that person, please introduce me to that person. Let me meet him and speak to him."

Right now, the former NBA player is focusing on getting his basketball career back on track. On Feb. 18 it was announced that he would be playing ball for Spanish team Laboral Kutxa. Odom signed a deal to finish out the rest of the 2013-2014 season with them with the option to play one more year.
