Following the indictment of Former President Donald Trump over hush money payment to Stormy Daniels, the ex-POTUS could face another investigation against payment to a Playboy magazine model.
  • The $130,000 payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels is the main focus of the prosecution against Donald Trump
  • Trump has maintained that the money was made to cease "false accusations," and he has denied having a relationship with Stormy Daniels
  • Prosecutors could reportedly use evidence about Karen McDougal to bring fresh charges against Trump

Stormy Daniels issued a hostile live-stream to her OnlyFans subscribers, promising to testify against President Trump if compelled to do so.

Daniels stated in a Wednesday night broadcast via a popular subscription app that she had copious documentation to support her claims that she was given "hush money" in 2016 to be silent about Trump's encounter with her years earlier.

Who is Stormy Daniels?

Prosecutors in New York City are drafting criminal charges against the former president about this purported payment. Trump denies any misconduct and a relationship with Daniels.

Per The Independent, Daniels responded to charges that she had used the controversy surrounding Trump for her commercial advantage by stating that it had rained and obscured a successful career.

According to Daniels, whose official name is Stephanie Gregory Clifford, she was reared in the capital of Louisiana, Baton Rouge, by a negligent mother. Her primary passion and pastime were horses. She supported herself financially in high school by working in strip clubs, as per The Guardian.

She soon began acting in and directing pornographic films under a pseudonym derived from the name Motley Crüe bassist Nikki Six gave to his daughter, Storm, and her liking for Jack Daniel's whiskey.

Later, she encountered Trump at a celebrity golf event in Lake Tahoe, California, where she was employed to meet competitors between tees. She claims that Trump's bodyguard invited her to dinner, that they subsequently had sex in his hotel room despite his marriage to future first lady Melania Trump, and that they remained in contact because he promised her a spot on The Apprentice.

Trump's connection with Daniels changed radically as he ran successfully for president in 2016. During the presidential campaign, Daniels was negotiating a deal to appear on television and describe the alleged sexual encounter with Trump when she allegedly received a $130,000 hush money payment, according to prosecutors. Cohen, Trump's former attorney, paid the payment.

While Trump has denied having sexual relations with Daniels and claimed the payment had nothing to do with his election victory, prosecutors persuaded a grand jury to indict him for illegally repaying Cohen in monthly installments of $35,000 following an investigation into whether he violated state campaign finance laws or falsified business records. Cohen pled guilty to federal charges related to this payment in 2018.

Cohen stated that, besides Daniels, he organized a hush-money payment to another woman at Trump's direction. Daniels recently met with Manhattan prosecutors and responded to their inquiries on the former president's payment.

Her attorney, Clark Brewster, tweeted on 15 March, "Stormy has answered to queries and volunteered to be available as a witness or for additional investigation, if necessary."

Grand Jury to Seek Another Hush Money Claim Against Trump

Supposedly, New York prosecutors investigating Donald Trump for hush money given to Stormy Daniels are investigating a $150,000 payment made to a former Playboy model.

The team of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has questioned grand jury witnesses over payments supplied to 1998 Playboy magazine "Playmate of the Year" Karen McDougal.

McDougal asserts that she began a ten-month romance with Trump in 2006. Thursday, Trump's staff issued a statement labeling the development a fake.

A grand jury is deliberating whether Trump should be indicted for paying Daniels, a pornographic actress, $130,000 to stay silent about their alleged affair. The funds were disbursed before the 2016 presidential election.

Sources told the Wall Street Journal, which reported that evidence about payments to McDougal might be used to pursue new charges or demonstrate a 'pattern of activity' in the Daniels case.
