OpenAI released GPT-4, the latest version of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence chatbot that has been a tremendous hit.

GPT-4 can process up to 25,000 words, which is approximately eight times as much as ChatGPT can handle, according to a BBC report.

Since its release in November 2022, ChatGPT has been used by millions of individuals while others wonder Can ChatGPT-4 Take Your Job.

Common uses include composing music, poetry, advertising material, computer code, and assisting with schoolwork, despite warnings from educators that pupils should not rely on such AI jobs and services.

ChatGPT uses the internet to answer inquiries in natural language and replicate different writing styles like songwriters and novelists.

ChatGPT Plus members, who pay an extra $20 each year, will be the first to get access to GPT-4. It is already used to run Microsoft's Bing search engine. The company has put $10 billion towards OpenAI.

The fact that GPT-4 is "multimodal," or compatible with both text and pictures, is perhaps the most important alteration. It means ChatGPT-4 can interpret and react to visual data, per Scientific American.

A More Powerful Artificial Intelligence

Annette Vee, an associate professor of English at the University of Pittsburgh who researches how computers and literature interact, saw a presentation of the AI job in which the new model was instructed to determine what was hilarious about a comical picture.

She explained that such a feature was not available with the previous ChatGPT. This AI job ability requires recognizing "the context in an image and knowing how and why a picture is put together and making that connection to language and social norms.

Some users argue that GPT-4 will not replace humans, but rather help them work more efficiently. Moreover, OpenAI acknowledged that ChatGPT-4 still has flaws and is still prone to spreading false information.

Though, with the use of human input, OpenAI claimed to have spent six months developing safety measures for GPT-4.

On Twitter, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman noted that, despite GPT-4's imperfections, it was the "most capable and aligned" model to date, per Al Jazeera.

He noted that it is "more creative" than prior models, it "hallucinates" substantially less, and "it is less biased."
