Following their divorce in the 1990s, Jada Pinkett Smith admits that she became connected with Will Smith and his "dynamic" with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino much too soon.

Jada Pinkett Smith is considering the mistakes she made when creating a blended family with her husband Will Smith and his ex-wife Sheree Zampino in the beginning.

The latest episode of Pinkett Smith's Facebook series 'Red Table Talk' featured her regular co-host, mom Adrienne Gammy Banfield-Norris. After that, Smith presented Zampino, whose daughter Willow Smith's replacement while she is on tour.

Pinkett Smith, 51, started the discussion by referencing the episode's focus on forgiveness and the sisterhood she had developed with Sheree Zampino for more than two decades. She admitted that things between them didn't go smoothly at first. In 1992, Will Smith married Sheree Zampino, but they ultimately divorced in 1995. In 1997, Pinkett Smith married the 'King Richard' actor.

Trey Smith, a son born to the former marriage, is 29 years old. The host of 'Red Table Talk' admitted that she had anticipated Sheree Zampino wouldn't have a significant role in their lives following the filing of the divorce papers.

Trey attended a play date and misbehaved, and Pinkett Smith recalled an incident when she informed Sheree Zampino that they needed to sit down and talk about Trey's behavior. The 'Girls Trip' star recalled another instance when Zampino made her feel like the queen bee, claiming that Zampino had come to her and Will Smith's home and entered their master bedroom, as per Today.

In the early stages of co-parenting Zampino and Will Smith's son Trey, Pinkett Smith reflects on giving Zampino no time to acclimate and stepping over a line. Additionally, Pinkett Smith called out the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star for a brash moment while acknowledging her own mistakes.

Sheree Zampino's mouth expanded wide in apparent surprise as she listened to Pinkett Smith narrate the tale. "Oh, that's inappropriate," Zampino remarked.

Despite the challenges the two ladies have encountered, they value one another and their growing sisterhood. The women declared that they didn't think they needed to make amends for anything else, according to Fox News.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Sheree Zampino talked about how their relationship has changed over time and how their mixed family has affected them before discussing toxic forgiveness with country music singer Jana Kramer and relationship therapist Nedra Glover Tawwab.

Pinkett Smith stated that she and Will Smith truly enjoy each other in a non-romantic sense and that she is not concerned by it. Zampino added that she and Will Smith are better as co-parents than "we were as husband and wife." To improve communication, the stars also disclosed that they kept a shared journal, which Sheree Zampino still possesses.

"Let's just be absolutely clear that we are not experiencing a throuple, since you know that will be the next rumor," Zampini said as per Insider.
