Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrived at Buckingham Palace this evening to join the rest of the Royal Family in receiving the Queen's coffin.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were visibly saddened as they drove to Buckingham Palace, where they would have seen the Queen's coffin for the first time.

Princess Anne escorted the coffin when it arrived at Buckingham Palace just after 8 pm. After returning from Northern Ireland, King Charles and the Queen Consort landed at Buckingham Palace earlier in the day.

Per Hello Magazine, Meghan Markle was spotted in a black gown with her husband. The Queen returned to London on Tuesday following her final voyage from Scotland. Her coffin was flown to RAF Northolt by aircraft, escorted by her beloved daughter, Princess Anne.

Queen Elizabeth II will spend Tuesday night in Buckingham Palace's Bow Room, where she used to hold banquets for foreign royals and guests. A procession will take place on Wednesday to transport the late queen to Westminster Hall, where she will lay in state for four days.

At 14:22, the coffin will leave Buckingham Palace. The cortege will go through downtown London, passing through Queen's Gardens, The Mall, Horse Guards and Horse Guards Arch, Whitehall, Parliament Street, Parliament Square, and New Palace Yard.

The King and members of the Royal Family will lead the procession. In honor of the sad event, guns will be fired in Hyde Park, and Big Ben will toll.

Prince Harry's visit comes as a royal author indicated today that the Duke's memoir will be released in November as scheduled, despite Queen Elizabeth II's death. Tom Bower, whose biography of Meghan Markle was published earlier this year, claimed the Duke of Sussex was "steadfast" about keeping the original date.

Earlier last week, royal insiders warned MailOnline that Prince Harry should avoid publishing anything controversial at this time. Meanwhile, publishing insiders say it might be pushed back to 2023 to give Prince Harry time to write more chapters on the Queen's death.

Despite Prince Harry and Prince William's walkabout at Windsor, earlier this week, Phil Dampier believes the schism between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal family remains "as raw as ever."

Oprah Winfrey Urges Sussexes to Use Event as Reconciliation

And fellow Royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams said he never felt the book should have been produced but that publishing it now, even with an additional chapter on the late Queen, would be unwise.

Fitzwilliams stated that the harm to Prince Harry's reputation will be determined by what the book covers, which is yet unknown. According to sources, neither King Charles nor Prince William, nor their attorneys or advisers, were given a chance to preview any portions of the document. Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey commented on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's connection with the royal family as they gathered to mourn Queen Elizabeth II's death. Winfrey said in an interview that she hopes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would take advantage of the chance to make up with their family members.

Oprah Winfrey's remarks came after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to Windsor Castle with the Prince and Princess of Wales to visit floral tributes laid in memory of the Queen. It was their first public meeting since they were last seen together in June at the National Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen's Jubilee, The Independent reported.
