After a New Orleans lady reportedly stabbed the two kids repeatedly on Sunday, a 4-year-old daughter died and a 2-year-old is in serious condition.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, Janee Pedescleaux, 31, is charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and second-degree cruelty to a youngster.

The stabbings occurred inside Pedescleaux's house, and neighbors claim she posted a video on Instagram immediately thereafter. Jermaine Roberts, the father, learned about the event quickly, and surveillance footage shows him coming up to the house and running inside from his truck. He then leaves the house with both kids, intending to take them to the hospital.

Roberts and Pedescleaux were fighting for custody of their children. Roberts allegedly filed a complaint, claiming Pedescleaux was not stable and incapable of providing a healthy environment for the kids.

Police were called to the residence in the Florida neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana, shortly after 11 am on Sunday. The youngsters had already been transported to a hospital in a private vehicle at the time. The youngster was in serious condition on Sunday afternoon. The daughter, identified as Paris Roberts by family members, died in the hospital.

Investigators believe Pedescleaux is the lady in a video published on the social media site earlier that day, according to NOLA. The video has since been removed. Pedescleaux is seen in the video looking at the camera while wearing a hat and a blood-stained tank top.

"I'm done," she says in the video, clearly upset. "My children are no longer alive. I'm finished. I'm through with life," according to Fox News

New Orleans Dad Rush To Rescue His Children

Jermaine broke in via a window and exited minutes later with the children, rushing them to the hospital. Paris, his four-year-old daughter, died as a result of her injuries while his two-year-old son was critically injured.

Janee Pedescleaux, who was with the children and is registered as a guardian, had posted a blood-splattered video on Facebook claiming she had murdered them. Jermaine was seen pulling up in his white pickup from an adjacent property before jumping out and running over to the residence in the city's Florida neighborhood.

He is claimed to have stormed out of the house with the daughter in his arms and the boy trailing behind them. The distraught father crammed them into his pickup and drove them to the hospital, where his daughter unfortunately died and his son was in serious condition.

Pedescleaux had already released a crazy video of himself ranting at the camera on Facebook following the severe incident. The camera is thought to have alerted him to the tragedy, prompting him to rush over and try to save them.

Pedescleaux, who resides in New Orleans' Florida area, first shared the strange tape on her Facebook page before it was pulled down. She is shown covered in her children's blood while she tapes herself wailing and yelling. On Sunday afternoon, Pedescleaux was booked into Orleans Justice Center, Daily Mail reported.
