Age differences between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson led to their separation earlier this week, sources claim.

The insider exclusively told Page Six, "Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 - they are just in very different places right now."

Additionally, the insider said that the reality television star and multi-businesswoman Kim Kardashian was "completely exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life."

As reported by E!, the Kardashians' star and the former Saturday Night Live comedian have split up and chosen to remain friends. When she was dating the 'SNL' alum, the Kardashian's turbulent relationship with ex-Kanye West sparked conflict.

The insider continued, "Kanye may have issues with the kids when Kim is with someone else. He makes an effort to divide and rule. He is forced to do it. Kim is a really dedicated mother, and her kids will always come first. She wants and needs harmony at home and in her life."

When she hosted 'Saturday Night Live' in October 2021, Kim Kardashian and Davidson - who have been spending time apart recently as he has been in Australia filming a new movie - first became acquainted. The following month, they began a formal relationship.
