Taylor Swift is following in the footsteps of Beyoncé, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lawrence. The 24-year-old "Red" singer recently showed off her new, shorter haircut. She debuted the look - a chic shoulder-length bob - on Instagram as she posed next to British singer Ellie Goulding.

"London, I could never thank you enough. See you next time! PS: short hair, don't care. (!!!)," she captioned the photo

Before posting the photo Swift uploaded a 30-second "haircut party" video on Instagram.

"This is how many people are watching me get a haircut right now... We don't do anything without an audience, do we?" she said in the video as she panned a room full of people.

The "22" singer recently appeared on Glamour magazine for their March 2014 cover story. Swift dished on a number topics including dating and why she will never take her clothes off for a music video.

"I find it relatively easy to keep my clothes on because I don't really feel like taking them off," she said. "It's not an urge I have. For me 'risky' is revealing what really happened in my life through music. Risky is writing confessional songs and telling the true story about a person with enough details so everyone knows who that person is. That's putting myself out there, maybe even more than taking my shirt off."

Swift is known for writing catchy lyrics and singing about her failed relationships. She told Glamour that her dating experiences have left her with some very useful tips on how to deal with boys.

Her first tip: Never yell in a relationship.

"Silence speaks so much louder than screaming tantrums. Never give anyone an excuse to say that you're crazy."

Want more dating advice from the country singer? Swift also said she thinks it's important for girls to do the "freeze-out" when dating. We'll let her explain:

"You don't respond to any of his texts or calls until he does something desperate [like] shows up. Or he calls and leaves a voice mail. Something that it very clear to you that he's interested."
