Former "Saturday Night Live" actor Chris Kattan was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence on Sunday morning in Los Angeles, Calif.
Law enforcement officials stopped 43-year-old Kattan around 1 a.m., TMZ reports. Kattan allegedly told authorities he was on prescription meds. Kattan was reportedly weaving on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley, but wasn't speeding.
"Kattan allegedly then crossed into an area that was coned off for a freeway closure and he struck a Dept. of Transportation vehicle from behind," TMZ reports. "Kattan was not injured and apparently there was no one in the DOT vehicle."
The actor was booked for the DUI, but no alcohol was suspected to be in his system.
Kattan isn't the only celebrity making headlines for recent arrests. Singer Justin Bieber was arrested in January for allegedly driving under the influence and drag racing. TMZ also reports the singer was reportedly driving more than 130 mph in his rented Lamborghini.
"We've now obtained the FULL GPS speed readout for the evening in question -- not just the period immediately surrounding the arrest," TMZ reports. "The GPS map corresponds to the readout. At 1:23 AM Justin was on the Julia Tuttle Causeway in Miami Beach, heading toward the nightclub. He was clocked at 108 MPH and within a minute he accelerated to 136 MPH."
"Cops claim Bieber was drag racing, but the read shows otherwise -- in the middle of the so-called drag race, he was cruising at 27 MPH -- under the speed limit," TMZ reports. (Check out the GPS maps here)
Bieber may slide on the drag racing charges, but he is still facing a serious DUI offense and possible charges for egging a neighbor's house. Bieber is set to return to court early March.
