The allegations that Prince Harry is in the direct line of succession have sparked controversy.

Many royal fans and experts are doubting the Duke of Sussex's chances of becoming King in the future as a result of the debate over his place in the family.

Royal Expert Slams Prince Harry's Assumption

The royal expert's views came following the first hearing in the Duke of Sussex case, which Harry did not attend at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. Prince Harry is receiving anger for suing over a decision not to enable him to pay for police protection for himself and his family while in the UK.

The Duke wants to bring his children from the United States to visit, but his lawyer told the High Court on Friday that he "does not feel comfortable" under the existing security arrangements.

He claims that his private protection team in the United States lacks the necessary international jurisdiction and access to UK intelligence material to keep his family safe. Angela Levin, a royal specialist, rebutted his allegations.

The first hearing in the lawsuit was held on Friday at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, but Harry was not there. The court heard at the preliminary hearing that both sides had requested that some aspects of the court records in the case be kept confidential.

Last year, the Duke returned from Los Angeles for the installation of the Diana, Princess of Wales memorial monument on July 1 and visited severely sick children and young people at a WellChild garden party and afternoon tea in Kew Gardens, west London, the day before. The Duke's automobile was reportedly pursued by cameras as he drove away, as per Express.

Despite his disagreement with the government over security, insiders informed Page Six that Prince Harry might still go to the UK for Prince Philip's burial. The Duke of Sussex's attendance at his beloved grandfather's funeral ceremony has been in doubt as he continues to fight the UK government over his request for security measures to be put in place for him and his family while in his motherland.

However, sources said that state security will be present during next month's celebration, which will be attended by Harry's grandmother, the Queen, his father, Prince Charles, and brother, Prince William, as well as other members of the royal family.

Because history suggests that Harry would be protected on such occasions, sources say there's still a possibility that he'll fly in from California for the ceremony. The chances of Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Archie, 2, and Lilibet, 8 months, attending the wedding on March 29 at Westminster Abbey are thought to be slim. Since leaving their top royal jobs in March 2020, Markle has not returned to the United Kingdom, according to Page Six.

Queen Elizabeth II Cancels Virtual Engagements

The Queen has yet to meet Lilibet, also known as Lili, who is now battling COVID-19. Indeed, Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie, who went out to California earlier this month to see the newborn girl, is the only member of the family to have seen her thus far.

Due to "minimal" COVID-19 symptoms, Queen Elizabeth II canceled her online engagements on Tuesday, according to Buckingham Palace. Officials said she hasn't decided whether to continue with other activities this week, including her weekly meeting with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday.

Officials revealed on Sunday that the 95-year-old monarch had tested positive for COVID-19 despite having been properly vaccinated and receiving a booster dose. COVID-19 was contracted by her eldest son, Prince Charles, 73, and her 74-year-old daughter-in-law, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, earlier this month. Since then, Charles has returned to work. Several recent viral cases have also been reported among the personnel at Windsor Castle, where the Queen is residing, New York post reported.
