Less than a day after news broke of her two-week rehab stint, Selena Gomez posted a video on Instagram of herself and two friends dancing a hip-hop routine.
Representatives for the "Come & Get It" singer confirmed yesterday that Gomez spent two weeks at The Meadows rehab center in Arizona in early January.
"Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse," the representatives said, according to Entertainmentwise.
While the Disney actress has not yet publicly commented on reasons for her rehab visit, Entertainmentwise reported, Gomez looks nothing like a person beset with rehab woes in the Instagram video.
Gomez, 21, appears confident and focused as she looks at her reflection in the mirror, whipping her hair to the beat of the music.
The Meadows is known for treating adults between the ages of 18 to 26-years-old who are "struggling with emotional trauma, addiction or dual diagnosis concerns."
At the end of last year, Gomez cancelled what was left of her Stars Dance world tour, a move that first raised uncertainty about her mental health. Gomez was seen hanging out with her ex boyfriend Justin Bieber on Jan. 2. Days later, Gomez was checked into rehab, Entertainmentwise reported.
Whatever the reason for her rehab visit, Gomez's fans remain loyal, praising her dancing.
"We selenators love u," Peggyhalm9 wrote in a comment for the video, referencing the nickname for spirited Gomez fans.
"Very beautiful I love you sel," Lailasalvio wrote.
