Kim Kardashian is a brunette again. The 33-year-old reality star posted a photo to her Instagram account showing off her darker locks. In September, three months after giving birth to her daughter North West, Kardashian stepped out with blonde tresses. At the time her colorist, George Papanikolas from Andy LeCompte salon, told E! News, that Kardashian had wanted to go blonde for a while.

"I've been coloring her hair for a year, and she's wanted to go blonder since the day we met," he said.

This time hair stylist Tracey Cummingham colored the new mom's home, US Weekly reports. A source told the magazine: [Tracey's] amazing. Kim just wanted to change it up! It seems like everyone went blonde, so it was time to change it up."

There are rumors that Kardashian went back to a brunette because she is appearing on a Vogue magazine cover. According to Jezebel, "a well-placed source" claims that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and her fiancé Kanye West were in Los Angeles over the weekend to do the cover shoot.

According to Jezebel's piece, it seems like Wintour might have changed her mind because it was previously reported that she was against the idea of putting a reality star on the cover.

It's been rumored for months that West has been meeting with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in hopes of convincing her to put Kardashian on the cover. Most recently, the two were spotted dining in Beverly Hills, the New York Post's Page Six reports.

Sources told the newspaper that West and Wintour were having a "very intense" conversation on Jan. 10 while enjoying lunch at the Polo Lounge.

"They were in a corner booth, very intense," the source said. "He was talking nonstop. She did get a word in edgewise."

Reportedly, the "Black Skinhead" rapper wanted his fiancée to be photographed in a wedding dress and with their daughter North West but Wintour wasn't sold on the idea.

"Kanye is absolutely determined to convince Anna that Kim should appear on the cover of Vogue wearing her wedding dress. Anna has remained typically aloof to Kanye's constant advances and offers," a source told Radar Online.
