For his latest episode of "Lie Witness News," Jimmy Kimmel asked people what they thought of President Barack Obama's State of the Union Address, which hadn't yet happened at the time.
In true "Lie Witness News" fashion, the late-night show host's rep approached random passerby on the street and inquired after their opinions of the fictional event.
Kimmel, who relishes pranking the share-happy, viral-obsessed citizens of America, went to Hollywood Blvd. to challenge the group of unsuspecting people's opinions on the SOTU.
When asked what he thought of the speech, one guy in lime green sunglasses said he was surprised by the "different effects" the address had "on different people."
"And, you know, I just feel those effects affect everybody," he said.
When the reporter asked another man whether he caught John Boehner falling asleep, he answered quickly, taking the story in stride.
"I did," he replied. "I'm not sure if he was asleep or 'resting his eyes,' as they say."
Kimmel has released a few other "Lie Witness News" spots, including one shot in 2013 at a music festival, in which interviewers asked concertgoers what they thought of a bunch of phony bands.
