After the disaster of Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is trying recover the lost through the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 8.

According to Tech Times, Samsung has announced an offer to all Note 7 customers who suffered from the battery explosion issue.

In South Korea, users will be able to exchange their Note 7 for a Galaxy S7 and get a 50 percent discount.

Furthermore, they will also get an option to wait for Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8. Once these devices will hit the market, users can use their exchange facility.

Usually Samsung release the Galaxy S series devices in February or March while the Galaxy Note series in August.

According to INQUISITR, users are expecting this trend is continue and looking forward to Galaxy Note 8 being available in August 2017.

However, there are rumors that due to the fiasco of Note 7, Note 8 release date can be delayed.

To earn back the hampered reputation, Samsung is expected to give a feature packed device that will please the customers.

The Galaxy Note 8 may have a 5.7-inch screen size and a 4k display. It is also likely that the device will feature 6GB or 8GB RAM for a smooth operation.

Galaxy Note 8 is expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor, which is the upgraded version of Snapdragon 821.

Apart from this, like Note 7, the new iteration Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a fingerprint and iris scanner for more security.

Since iPhone 7 is offering the maximum storage capacity of 256 GB, customers are hoping that Samsung will do the same for Galaxy Note 8.

The most important feature, however, is the battery. Samsung would want to put special attention to make the battery of Galaxy Note 8 durable and long lasting.
