Vivo has released their first-ever Vivo X9 teaser which hints on a dual-camera for upcoming flagship. Vivo also confirmed that the phone will be released officially on November 16 during a special event in China. The press special event will be held in Beijing actually. This news is not a rumor, nor a leak, but it is confirmed via Vivo.

The company also confirmed that the coming dual-camera setup will indeed be a front-facing one that will consist of a 20MP + 8MP duo for selfies and video calling purposes.

According to Playfuldroid, the Vivo X9 to be featuring the latest Snapdragon 653 SoC processor which will be paired with a 4GB of RAM as well as 64GB internal storage. This space will be under its memory compartment. Also, the device will be allegedly feature 20MP front-facing camera to compete with the current selfie expert, Oppo F1S.

The metal construction from the X7 will be having a around the antenna bands and it will also have the ever more popular U-shaped design. In the latest flagship, the front screen comes with extra narrow 1.59mm beels on the sides and Gorilla Glass 5, which is employed to protect the display.

The Vivo X9 will also have choice in the 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and a back camera of 16MP. The phone will be running on the Android 6.0.1 out of the box. For the latest OS update to Nougat, users have to wait until company rolls out the update to the phone.

The Vivo X9 release date was posted by the company's official account on Weibo, the famous Chinese micro-blogging website. The launching date that is confirmed on November 16.

However, the company has still not given any price frame for the upcoming flagship. Also, it is rumoured that the manufacturer wansts to release of Vivo X9 as soon as possible. That is because of the pressure from the release of its competitors, Huawei Mate 9 as well as Xiaomi Mi Mix.
