Ready for Samsung's best smartphone, yet? Samsung Galaxy S8 is coming soon.
Apple and Samsung are, without a doubt, the two biggest players in the smartphone and tablet industry.
These companies are constantly overthrowing each other's smartphones and tablets with new launches and technology.
Apple CEO Tim Cook is claiming that the iPhone 7 is it the best smartphone yet. Although, head-to-head comparisons of the iPhone 7 versus the Samsung Galaxy S7 concludes otherwise.
Now that iPhone 8 is in the works for Apple's 10th iPhone Anniversary, Samsung is not trailing behind.
But contrary to rumors, Samsung is not rushing the Galaxy S8 to save face from the failure of the very controversial, Galaxy Note 7. The South Korean tech giant is currently all-out but taking time and precision developing the new Samsung Galaxy S8.
According to a Korean site, ET News, Samsung is expected to make major hardware changes to the new Galaxy S8.
Like the iPhone 8, the Galaxy S8 is also rumored to have full-screen display. This means that the home button, as well as the front camera, will be incorporated under the glass display.
Display will follow Galaxy S7 at 5.5 in but will be 4K-capable in order to provide a better and full Gear VR experience.
For the camera, Samsung will follow Huawei, LG and Apple and will incorporate dual-lens camera for higher quality image. Galaxy S8's dual camera will support 16 MP and 8 MP with trademarks, LightUp Camera and Light+ Camera.
The Galaxy S8 is rumored to run on both Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 and Exynos with 6GB RAM. The internal storage is speculated to be 64 GB and 128 GB, expandable with a microSD.
Galaxy S8 Edge is also said to become the standard model but the "Edge" description will be dropped. The new model will be simply called the Galaxy S8.
Koh Dong-jin discloses that the Edge display is and will be the character of the whole Galaxy S smartphone line-up. Dong-jin is the head of Samsung Mobile.
Samsung Galaxy S8 release date will be on February 26, 2017. It is said to be available for $ 900.
