It appears that the world of vampires and lycans are once more rattled by the impending threat of war in the upcoming scenes of "Underworld: Blood Wars."

With the blood bath between the two factions are underway, the spotlight centers on its main characters, played by Kate and Theo James.

Although rumors have surfaced, there was no proof that the main stars are not getting along. In fact, both Kate Beckinsale and Theo James are treading on busy grounds owing to the preparation for the scenes of "Underworld: Blood Wars."

It is also a possibility that a blood war will reign if the death match between the two breeds are in full force. According to Coming Soon, Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment have released a trailer and it depicted the thrilling scenes that await "Underworld: Blood Wars."

More report from Movie Pilot revealed of some elements that fans and followers could look forward in the upcoming episodes of "Underworld: Blood Wars."

As noted by the same post, new roles and new faces would be added. Among them is the English actress Lara Pulver who will portray the role as the main antagonist Semira.

Also, in the upcoming sequel, the lycans are getting their bearing under the new leadership of Marius, played by Tobias Menzies. Based on the trailer, Marius will do everything in his power to eliminate the vampire race and end the centuries-long war.

For the fans and followers of "Underworld: Blood Wars," the franchise sequel with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene will dominate the box office theaters on January 6, 2017.
