Apple just launched iPhone 7 earlier this month. However, iPhone 8 is already making news.

Wait, isn't a little bit too early to speculate the supposed iPhone 8? Well, no, as Apple is said to launch iPhone 8 in 2017 as part of the company's celebration of iPhone's 10th Anniversary.

It seems only yesterday when Apple unveiled the very first iPhone to the public. However, it has already been 10 years after Steve Jobs surprised the world with the first iPhone.

Steve Jobs launched the world's first iPhone at Apple's annual Macworld Expo in January 9, 2007. Apple CEO called it a "revolutionary mobile phone" as it will be a phone, iPod and "internet communicator" rolled into one device.

At that time, web browsing with a phone is very new and Jobs feels enthusiastic about Apple's new iPhone.

Fast forward to 2016 as Tim Cook launched the iPhone 7 and called it "the world's most advanced smartphones".

Now, an Apple employee disclosed to Business Insider that iPhone 8 is already in the works. iPhone 8 is currently being developed in Apple's plant in Herzliya, Israel.

The anonymous tipper also said that the new iPhone 8 will be very different from the iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 in terms of look and camera features. Hopefully, the difference will be for the better.

According to Mac Rumors, the iPhone 8 will have a glass body and edge to edge OLED display. The touch ID fingerprint sensor and front camera are already integrated in the display but the home button will disappear.

It is also expected to charge wirelessly and will run on a very fast processor, A11.

iPhone 8 is also said to be available in three variants, an OLED and two standard models in 4.7 and 5.5 inch display options.

Truly, technology changed greatly over just a span of 10 years. And whether we admit it or not, Apple's iPhone is a great part of it.

The 10th Anniversary of iPhone next year is truly something to look forward to. Rumor or not, Apple surely has great plans for iPhone 8 in 2017.
