A 40-year old self-proclaimed Nazi is demanding child protective services return his children.
Heath Campbell and his 22-year-old girlfriend welcomed a baby girl on Nov. 11, only to have her taken away by child services two days after she was born. Campbell named the girl Eva Braun, after Adolf Hitler's mistress.
"I'm not allowed to have children because I'm a Nazi," Campbell told the New York Daily News. "That's what they're saying. Well, I'll stop making them when they stop taking them."
Campbell, who has a total of nine children from five different women, first appeared in the headlines when a supermarket said no to putting his son's name, Adolf Hitler Campbell, on a birthday cake in 2008, the Daily News reported. Campbell currently does not have custody of any of his children.
The Nazi's girlfriend, Bethanie Zito, went into labor while visiting her family. She was taken to Chambersburg Hospital in Pennsylvania where she gave birth to Eva Lynn Patricia Braun.
Campbell, who is unemployed, was in New Jersey and could not come up with the money to see his daughter before workers from the Franklin County Children and Youth Services took her away. Zito, who has another child that was also taken away by the state, told the Daily News she spent two days with her daughter when nurses took the baby away and officials from child services walked in.
"I'm sorry. Your daughter is not coming back," said one of the hospital workers, Zito told the Daily News. "We're taking her.
"I started screaming. I got hysterical," Zito said. "I had just been checked out. I was breast-feeding my daughter for two days straight. I changed her. I had clothes on her."
Campbell, who has swastika tattoos all over his body, showed up to a court hearing in June wearing a full Nazi uniform. He was seeking custody of his 2-year-old son, Heinrich Hons.
Campbell has another court hearing scheduled for Monday.
"They kidnapped her." Campbell told the Daily News, referring to his new daughter. "Because I'm not going to mix with the opposite races and I'm not going to let my children mix, that gives them the right to steal my child?"
