The Ultimate Fighting Championship will put an end to its latest successful fight season on Saturday (Dec. 28) when UFC 168: Weidman vs. Silva 2" kicks off. The event will be broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube starting at 7 p.m. ET with the Featherweight fight between Estevan Payan and Robbie Peralta. The evening's main event will see Middleweight champion Chris Weidman defend his title against the former champion, and MMA legend, Anderson Silva.
The Silva Weidman fight isn't the only title defense happening at UFC 168. Women's Bantamweight title holder Ronda Rousey is putting her 135-pound beld on the line against Miesha Tate.
According to MMAmania, once the hour-long Facebook/YouTube stream ends, the rest of the "Prelims" under card will begin to air live on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. and will feature fights between Uriah Hall and Chris Leben as well as Michael Johnson vs. Gleison Tibau. The fights will be broadcast from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
While the live stream won't allow you to watch the main event for free, you'll still get to see some great fights. However, if you're interested in checking out the pay-per-view action, which kicks off at 10 p.m., you can call up Comcast or your ocal cable/satellite provider and order the event for your television. If you'd prefer to stream, you can do so with your computer using UFC.TV, Yahoo! Sports, YouTube.com or UStream.
If you're really in a pinch, UFC 168 will be available on your mobile device via the Android Market and App Store. In addition, it is available for the Roku, Xbox Live and Playstation 3 and PlayStatino 4 consoles.
