"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will give emotional roller-coaster to many of its characters. Alex will face charge for hitting DeLuca. In the meantime, Jo is too afraid to confess to Alex that she is already married and she runaway from abusive husband.

The final of Season 12 showed Jo rejected Alex proposal to marry him. But she also couldn't tell the truth that she is already married and running away, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will start from the consequences that Alex (Justin Chambers) action has to face for hitting DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) in the previous season. Meanwhile, in this season, Jo's (Camilla Luddington) background including her marriage and her abusive husband will be unveiled.

Beside Chambers, Gianniotti and Luddington, there are many returning characters in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, including Ellen Pompeo, Jason George, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Jr. Caterina Scorsone, Kevin McKidd, Kelly McCreary and Martin Henderson.

There is also speculation that the writer will kill one key character, according to Hall of Fame. The probable target for that is Richard (Pickens) as he looked so depressed in the last episode.

On the other hand, we will see Amelia (Scorsone) and Owen (McKidd) getting married and Meredith (Pompeo) finds out that Maggie (McCreary) is also attracted to Nathan (Henderson).

Unfortunately, one of most loveable character in "Grey's Anatomy" Cristina Yang, played by Sandra Oh who left the series in Season 10 will not come back.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Oh said she has no plan to return to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital soon.

"I've gotta tell you those rumors, I don't know who starts them but it really is tough. No, I have no plans to return to Grey's anytime soon," Oh made it clear about her unwillingness to return.

The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will return on Sept. 22 on ABC at 8 pm.
