Taylor Swift has been very busy with a lot of things lately - one reason being her emotional woes from her recently-concluded romance with Tom Hiddleston, and another one involving new material that would succeed her phenomenal 2014 album 1989.

That's according to Swift's friend Gigi Hadid, who was thankful for the pop star's support at the New York Fashion Week on September 9, where she launched her TOMMYXGIGI project in collaboration with designer Tommy Hilfiger.

Hadid spoke with ET on Swift's support, as well as clues on the 10-time Grammy winner's work on a new album. "She's obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that," the supermodel said.

Those remarks coming from Hadid gives Swift's faithful fans a reason to celebrate. Those who have followed the Bad Blood star's career should know that she keeps a two-year gap in releasing albums since her breakthrough self-titled album came out in 2006.

Although there isn't any guarantee that Swift would ever follow through that pattern, fans still have at least one month to see if the pop star drops any new material. She has been known to release lead singles at least two months before every new album - Shake It Off came out shortly before 1989 was released.

Swift's whirlwind romance with Tom Hiddleston recently placed the pop star under the spotlight in non-musical terms, as it followed through a messy breakup with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. The Night Manager star was reportedly ready to propose to the pop star after they were introduced to each other's parents.

With Swift having gone through several controversies since 1989 came out - with the most explosive being her public spat with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West over the rapper's Famous lyrics, fans have enough reason to expect equally intriguing material to come from the former country singer.

Meanwhile, Swift was all in for her support to Hadid's new collection in an Instagram video post, captioned: "SO PROUD OF YOU GIGI!!!! That show was INSANE. Congrats to Gi, Tommy, and all the girls who just owned that runway!!"
