Who runs the world? Mariah Carey. That is, according to the title of her upcoming docuseries, “Mariah’s World.”

The vocalist unveiled the first trailer for her new reality television show at the NBCUniversal Upfront Presentation at Radio City Music Hall in New York City earlier today.

In the clip for the upcoming E! series, Carey can be seen rehearsing, touring, partying, globetrotting and acting like a diva.

While she does speak highly of her fans in the 89-second trailer, she also surprisingly reveals that she will never be seen in fluorescent lighting without sunglasses on.

At another point, the “Emotions” singer can be heard saying: “I am not Cinderella. My life has not been a fairy tale.”

And, toward the end of the video, she states: “I don’t think anyone knows anything about me.”

There will be eight hour-long episodes of “Mariah’s World,” which premieres later this year. The show is being produced by Bunim/Murray Productions and will air across E!’s 17 international channels, reaching 153 countries in 24 languages.

“‘Mariah’s World’ takes viewers beyond the flashbulbs and fame and into the private life of singer, songwriter and mega-producer Mariah Carey,” E! said about the docuseries. “It will give viewers VIP access to the songstress like never before as she begins her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour of the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa, all while planning her wedding to Australian business mogul James Packer.”

At the Upfront Presentation, Carey - wearing a glittery and tight animal-print minidress and fishnet stockings - lost her balance while walking the event’s blue carpet as one of her Christian Louboutin heels came off. She handled the stumble like a pro and quickly regained her balance thanks to help from two men walking beside her.

The 46-year-old heads back to Las Vegas to continue her residency, “Mariah #1 To Infinity,” at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace June 7 to 25 and Aug. 24 to Sept. 11.
