"Captain America: Civil War" directors Joe and Anthony Russo took to Instagram to post a video message thanking the masses of fans for their "overwhelming" response to the film. As of this writing, "Civil War" boasts a 90 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has taken in a whopping $737 million and counting at the worldwide box office. Clearly, the movie is connecting with fans and the Russo brothers want them to know that they appreciate it.

The duo sent the message out with Joe holding Cap's iconic shield and a well-placed Winter Soldier figure looking on in the background. Well played, gentlemen.

Alas, there is now time for the Russo brothers to revel in their massive, box office shattering success. The two have begun working full-time on the ambitious upcoming two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" series. While they were still working in the editing bay for "Civil War," the two were sneaking off for story meetings with Marvel head honchos for "Infinity War." The video teases the upcoming series as the next big thing, and we're going to take them at their word for it.

According to a poll conducted by Comicbook.com, "Captain America: civil War" has an average rating of 88.14 among fans and a 4.54 out of 5. It has also jumped to the No. 2 slot in the site's all-time comic book movie rankings. Not too shabby, eh Marvel?
