On Thursday, a familiar face returned to the popular game show "The Price is Right." Bob Barker, the former host of the show, returned for a visit in order to celebrate his 90th birthday.

Barker moved a little bit slower than usual but, other than that, the former host seemed to have lost none of his charm or enthusiasm for the way the game is played. He made two appearances on the show, once at the beginning and once at the very end alongside his replacement host, Drew Carey.

Barker hosted "The Price is Right" from 1972 until 2007 before passing the microphone along to Carey. When he first came out to the calamity of celebration from his adoring crowd, Barker even joked that the audience "figured out that it took me a long time to become 90 years old," according to NYDailyNews.

Barker then brought a small puppy from a local animal shelter on the stage to inform the crowd that he was up for adoption. Carey even noted that when he took the job of hosting, Barker made him promise that on every show he would mention Barker's longtime cause of having pet dogs and cats spayed an neutered in order to help control the per population.

On Barker's second visit to the set during the show he helped announced the day's showcase. He then took a guess on the price of a car from a woman. The NYDailyNews notes that the woman corrected Carey earlier in the show for calling her "Evelyn" when she goes by the name "Gale." Barker also called her "Evelyn" but she did not correct him.

Before leaving, Barker expressed his hope that he would be welcomed back to the show again for his 100th birthday.
