"Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" is it's first multiplayer DLC titled "Blackbeard's Wrath" on Tuesday.
The DLC will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC for $2.99 starting Dec. 10, or free if you purchased a Season Pass.
According to IGN, there will be three new characters to portray in the multiplayer option, which are Blackbeard, The Jaguar and The Orchid:
"While Blackbeard's skillset will focus on using his strength to throw targets off balance and finishing them off with one clean strike, The Orchid will use the training she obtained serving as a military advisor during China's Qing Dynasty to get the most out of her blade. The Jaguar, meanwhile, is an Aztec warrior from Mexico, working with the Templars and using a discreet axe."
"Assassin's Creed 4" gamers can also look forward to the "Freedom Cry" DLC, which is set to launch on Dec. 17. "Freedom Cry" is Ubisoft's single player DLC following the story of Adewale, Edward Kenway's shipmate turned Assassin.
"Freedom Cry focuses on first mate-turned-assassin Adéwalé, 15 years after the main game takes place. But it also weaves back into the main AC4 narrative by featuring at least one returning character and 'a notable object'," creative director Wesley Pincombe told Eurogamer.net.
Like it's core game, the "Freedom Cry" DLC will contain clues about the upcoming "Assassin's Creed" installment.
"There are some [hints] but our fans will only discover them in the future," Pincombe explained. "They're in your face, but you'd have to be a hardcore fan to understand them."
