'Dead Rising 3' Gameplay: Learn How To Make The 5 Best Weapon Combos In The Game

With both next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft officially available, many have probably gotten their hands on one by now and are already knee deep in zombie parts from the latest and third installment in the "Dead Rising" franchise.

The game can boast 101 different ways to combine random objects to fight off an endless hoard of flesh eating monsters. This includes a plethora of Super Combo Weapons that are essentially massively powerful version of two Combo weapons built together.

Below is a list of some of the best combos you can make in the game, courtesy of IGN.

Heavy Metal: a lead pipe combined with a 2x4 with some barbed wire around it. This is one of the first and most easy-to-make weapon combos you can get your hands on in the game. Once you purchase the "Blunt Objects" category. This is one of the first blueprints you'll discover. It's located on the black prison bus directly across the street from Rhonda's Garage.

Grim Reaper: There are several different version of this weapon but the standard G.R. is durable enough to withstand serious use. It is also able to cut down multiple zombies at a time. There are several places to find the blueprints in Ingleton. They can also be found at the Knife shop near the burger place, on top of the slide in the playground, above the shack near the gun store and behind a wall near the sewer entrance.

Chopper: An axe is an intense zombie killing tool. Therefore, a better zombie killing object is obviously two axes connected to each other with duct tape. This object provides attacks that are both quick and powerful attacks allowing you to clear your path of zombies with just a few swings. You can find the Chopper blueprint on the roof next to the safe house entrance in southern Ingleton.

DynaMeat: This is exactly what it sounds like. A stick of dynamite strapped to a hunk of meat. When thrown this will create a distraction that zombies cannot ignore. Throw it away from you and get some of the heat throwing distance away and wait for the fireworks and carnage. The blueprint is available in the warehouse/hangar in southern Almuda at the beginning of chapter 03.

Z.A.R.: This combination of an assault rifle and a shotgun will not only allow gamers to put down groups of zombies in literally one second, it also gives them an instant upper hand against almost every boss or psychopath battle in the game. You can find Z.A.R. schematics at the end of chapter 03 when you enter the police station.
