Panic! At The Disco: Death Of A Bachelor (DCD2/Fueled By Ramen)
Theatrical emo/pop-punkers Panic! At The Disco are back with album number five, and this one is strictly frontman Brendon Urie's baby, as he plays all of the instruments. Urie said the process was inspired by time spent alone as a kid and how he'd respond when he'd hear a song he liked, writing on Facebook: "This album is me. Running to the piano. Building a drum kit. Strumming a guitar. Some things never change." He's also called the album a mix of Frank Sinatra and Queen, and we can certainly hear some of the former in the croon-y title track. Check out the official video below:

Megadeth: Dystopia (Tradecraft/Universal)
Megadeth main man Dave Mustaine changes band members more than most heavy metal dudes change underwear. That's the case again on "Dystopia," the thrash metal pioneers' first album since drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick decided to exit stage left. Filling their roles on "Dystopia" are Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler and Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro.

We'll have to wait until album No. 15 is released on Jan. 22, but judging by the sound of songs like "The Threat Is Real," it sounds like Megadeth is revisiting its lightning-quick, heavy-riffing roots, which should thrill old-school fans to no end. Check out the song's animated post-apocalyptic video below:

Savages: Adore Life (Matador Records)
All-female London group Savages' sophomore effort "Adore Life" attempts to build on 2013's buzzed-about debut, "Silence Yourself," which was nominated for a Mercury Prize, BBC-sponsored awards given to British and Irish artists.

In the video below for "Adore" below, standout singer Jehnny Beth sets a dark and brooding foundation before an anthem-like payoff.

David Bowie: Nothing Has Changed (Columbia/Legacy)
In the previous edition of Coveted, we led our music section with David Bowie's new album, "Blackstar." Little did we know it would also be the iconoclast's swan song, as he passed away after a private battle with cancer on Jan. 10. If you're looking to dig deeper into Bowie's storied catalog but you're overwhelmed by its sheer breadth, we suggest "Nothing Has Changed," his first career-spanning compilation, released in 2014. It's available in 2-CD, 3-CD and double-vinyl versions and also includes "Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)," which he later re-recorded for "Blackstar."

Check out the classic track "The Jean Genie" below.

MOVIES
By Cal Setar

The Revenant (Twentieth Century Fox)
Director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu is back with an Oscar-worthy follow-up to his stunning, third wall-breaking "Birdman." A frontiersman is propelled into the uncharted American wilderness on what begins as a fur trading expedition but ends in a struggle for survival and revenge. Legendary explorer Hugh Glass is pushed to his limits after being betrayed by his closest confidant, attacked by a bear and left for dead by his hunting team.

The Forest (Gramercy Pictures)
In the farthest reaches of an uninhabited area of Japan at the foot of Mount Fuji, there is a forest. This forest holds no particular meaning for most, but for a select few, it has become a place of pilgrimage to the other side. In Japan's so-called Suicide Forest, a woman seeks out her twin sister. Only the young woman and her American guide find more than they bargained for as they seek answers to her sister's unexplained disappearance.

The Big Short (Paramount Pictures)
Peppered with big names - Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Steve Carell and Brad Pitt - this exploration of the U.S. mortgage housing crisis of 2005 is told in dramatic fashion. Parallel storylines intersect in explosive fashion as Michael Burry, a former physician turned hedge fund manager, looks to exploit what he sees as a doomed real estate market. His plan to bet against the housing market reaches both the right and the wrong people, leading to an all-out assault against the nation's big banks.

PETS AND PET LOVERS
By Kimberly M. Aquilina

Coffee Table Pet Bed by Sauder Pet Home ($289.99)

Our pets are part of our families. We probably like the furry family members a little better than some of the human ones (let's be honest), so why not pamper them a bit? In 2014, the pet industry took notice of the millennial generation and discovered 76 percent of the new boomers will splurge on pampered pet products. The result? Some great products like this one that incorporates function for all and eliminates the need for two separate furniture pieces, which could be a space saver in an apartment. The cushion cover comes off with a zip for easy cleaning. You can get a 360-degree view and purchase the two-in-one coffee table on Sauder's website or at a retailer near you.

You Need More Sleep: Advice from Cats by Francesco Marciuliano (Kindle $7.39/Hardcover $8.09)
We've been purr-using (we couldn't help ourselves) this purr-fectly sized (OK, we'll stop) book while sipping tea from our "Cat Mother of the Year" mugs. From the author of "I Could Pee on This," this hilarious take on how to chill like a kitty garnered a lot of praise from Amazon reviewers, from "I bought this as a gift and the person squealed with delight for 5 minutes," to "Purchased as a Christmas gift for a cat lover who owns (and loves) books by Francesco Marciuliano. I couldn't help but read a few pages when it arrived (just to check to see all was alright) and it's hilarious." Get it here and love your life.

Cats have it made, so it only makes sense to take advice from them. Don't believe us? Just know every time your cat wakes you up so you can feed him, you might not catch it, but he drops a mic and Beyoncé walks out of the room. That's a boss.

Catstronaut Leggings by Ghost and Stars ($88)

Yes, these might be a bit pricy for stretchy pants, but c'mon! Imagine walking into your friend's house, bottle of wine in hand, ready for a ladies night wearing these! Jealousy will fill the room and victory will be yours!

Ghost and Stars hooked up with Werkshop to create one-of-a-kind leggings that can be worn in the gym or on the street. The leggings are quick-dry, piling-resistant, chlorine-resistant and - oh yeah - feature a cat as an astronaut. You should preorder, since new inventory is almost ready for the next shipment date, which is promised to be no later than Jan. 31, according to the website.

It was released on BH Cosmetics official website back in September but quickly sold out. Now, it's being restocked but for a limited time only, so buy now.

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Collection

In November, Gwen Stefani released a handpicked eyeshadow palette for Urban Decay, and now she has an entire collection with the popular makeup brand. The official and expanded Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Collection was released on Jan. 12 and features the original eyeshadow palette, a blush palette, eight shades of lipstick, six shades of lip liner and an exclusive Gwen eyebrow powder box. "I went through all my makeup and was like, OK, what are my must-haves?" Stefani told Allure of the two-year process of creating the collection. "Not, like, fashion-shoot-type stuff, but what I'm legitimately wearing every day. There's not one color in this collection that isn't true to who I am." The lipsticks go for $18 apiece, the liners, which promise to last 24 hours, are $20 each, the brow box is $30 and the six-shade blush palette is $45.

Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream ($26.50)

Clinique's latest eye cream guarantees to work wonders on your eyes whether it's used under makeup or completely by itself. The cream is an instant brightening and hydrating miracle that's extremely lightweight. It gets rid of dark circles and really gives your winter skin that refreshed, wide-awake look.

Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Shy Beam Matte Highlighter ($26)

This nude-pink, matte-radiance highlighter creates natural-looking luminosity whether you're hardcore contouring or going for a makeup-free look. The highlighting cream works best when applied where light would naturally hit your face, which is typically your cheekbones, above and below your brow bones, along your temples, down the bridge of your nose, and above your cupid's bow, but even just lightly blending some on your cheekbones will give dull skin the soft yet subtle glow it needs. This product is brand new and available exclusively at Sephora.
