India will look for big performances from skipper MS Dhoni. Dhoni, along with Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay provide a strong top of the order for the squad. Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin will also be expected to produce in the first Test, which India is favorited to win.

West Indies may be the underdog, but have the ability to put up runs behind the likes of Darren Sammy and Darren Bravo.

This is the first time the two sides will meet in a Test since 2011, when India had the better outing.
