Jenifer Aniston was spotted showing off her big diamond engagement ring in Santa Fe, New Mexico while spending some quality time with Justin Theroux despite their busy schedules.
Jennifer Aniston is currently busy shooting her upcoming comedy movie "We're The Millers." but took a break to spend time with fiance Justin Theroux, who proposed to the 43-year-old actress in August.
"The proposal was simple. He was surprised she said yes, but he is so happy."
The couple flew on a private plane from North Carolina, where Aniston's shooting her movie and sat down for a meal and it was there Theroux proposed. Theroux invited close friends and family to celebrate the occasion.
"Everyone is really excited for them. It's amazing to see how happy Justin makes Jen, and everyone was always hoping that he would propose," a close friend of Theroux said to People magazine.
The insider added that the engagement did not come to them as a surprise as they were well aware of it. "He's been dying to do it. His friends knew it was coming," the source said.
According to designer, David Nygaard of David Nygaard Fine Jewelers, the ring is not well balanced enough to support such a big diamond placed on it. See the ring here.
"The challenge with a large diamond, or any gem, is the design," he said. "Yes, sure, some stones are pendant stones, but I've never found that a stone on its own can be too big for a hand. As it is, it may just be unbalanced, a little bulky looking, not pleasing aesthetically."
"I would have made the band, or the shank, of the ring a little larger, or maybe a split shank."
Although, the couple revealed their engagement, no news confirming marriage dates have been released. The couple has shown their desire to tie the knot in New Mexico.
"Jen has fallen in love with New Mexico, it has a very relaxed vibe that fits both her and Justin perfectly, so it would be a great place for them to have the wedding," A source said OK Magazine.
