The war between the two cell phone giants to be leaders in the market continues as Samsung releases its much awaited Galaxy S4 packed with unique features to beat Apple's iPhone 5. Will the new S4 features lure iPhone users to switch to an Android platform? Here is a comparison of the two leading smartphones in the market currently.

Apple launched its high-end model iPhone 5, last September, and has gained immense popularity since. Samsung continues to release its series of Galaxy S phones, recently at a grand event in New York, Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched.

The much hyped specifications, processor, display clarity, camera, and some unique features that were introduced in the latest Galaxy S4 took the technology in phones to the next level. Although both the phones have their own specialty in design and software, the competition remains close due to the demand of both smartphones in the market. Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to be on sale across 155 countries April 26, 2013.

Apple iPhone 5 sales were high. The company in September received record breaking pre-orders for their device with more than two million people placing orders to book their phones.

Apple sold more than five million phones in just three days of its release. Since Samsung's S4 has not hit sales as yet, a comparison cannot be drawn.However, if the grand launch is anything to go by, it surely shows some promising early sales.
