The Boston Red Sox play the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday in Game 3 of the 2013 World Series. The game starts at 8:07 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE.
With the series split, the Red Sox travel to St. Louis for the third game of the World Series. The Cardinals hope they can capitalize on their home field advantage and take the lead in the series.
"I believe our ballpark is very fair. I don't think there's one thing that would make our team any more effective in this park than any other," Cardinals manager Mike Matheny said, via ESPN. "It's not like there's the oddities, like a Green Monster or deep corners and gaps.
"But you can't help but buy into the atmosphere, especially when you're at home and every single thing you do gets such a positive response."
Joe Kelly is slated to pitch Game 3 for the Cardinals. Kelly admitted how much he likes playing in front of their home crowd and being able to continue their regular routine in St. Louis.
"Well, we love playing here at Busch Stadium," Kelly told reporters. "Like I said, it's a sea of red."
Kelly added: "You get to sleep in your own bed. You get to do what you normally do on a regular basis. If you get coffee in the morning, you go to your coffee shop. It's just a comfort level to know that it's your home away from your offseason home."
Jake Peavy gets the start for Boston. Playing away from home on baseball's biggest stage doesn't bother him.
"This is what I've lived for my whole life - my whole baseball career, I should say," Peavy said. "I'm as prepared as I'll ever be - physically, mentally."
