"Fifty Shades" has their Elliot Grey! Universal Pictures and Focus Features confirmed that "True Blood" star Luke Grimes will play Elliot, Christian Grey's older brother. The announcement came just two days after E.L. James welcomed Jamie Dornan as Charlie Hunnam's replacement to play the kinky billionaire.

Dakota Johnson was confirmed to play Anastasia Steele at the beginning of September. The casting process hit a bit of a stall when Hunnam abruptly backed out of the movie. Universal and Focus released a statement saying that the 33-year-old actor's "immersive TV schedule" wasn't allowing him to properly prepare for the role.

Now, it seems like the movie is back on track. Fans were thrilled to find out Dornan was cast as the lead role.

"@E_L_James @JamieDornan1 I just got the shivers!! I need a safe word to deal with this!! Yay!" one user tweeted.

"@E_L_  James @JamieDornan1 OH.MY.GOOOD!! Greyt news! He's perfect for the role!! You!!" another Twitter user posted.

"To be honest I like him more!" another fan posted.

Now all Grimes needs is his leading lady, Kate Kavanagh who hasn't been cast yet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal and Focus approached actress Juno Temple to play Kavanagh but she turned it down.

The source didn't reveal why Temple passed on the role but an official decision should be announced fairly soon. The source also said that actor Frank Grillo was asked to play Taylor, Grey's bodyguard but he also turned the role down.

At the beginning of October THR reported that Jennifer Ehle was in talks to play Carla, Steeles's southern mother. She is described as forgetful and flighty by Steele but instantly takes a liking to Grey. Carla, who has also been divorced multiple times, is more than happy to share her feelings about her daughter's love interest.

Ehle has appeared in "Zero Dark Thirty," "Contagion" and will star in the upcoming movie "Robocop."
