After all of the press coverage of Mary-Kate Olsen's marriage to Olivier Sarkozy, John Stamos posted a throwback pic of himself with twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on his Instagram account. The black-and-white photo features the very young twins with a youthful Stamos wearing sunglasses.

Stamos may have been feeling sentimental now that 29-year-old Mary-Kate tied the knot to 46-year-old Olivier Sarkozy. Mary-Kate dated the former French president's younger brother for three years, according to US Magazine. They lived together in a $6.25 million townhouse in Manhattan.

Stamos congratulated the twin in the caption for the throwback photo, feeling nostalgic, noted USA Today.

"'In the blink of an eye.' Congrats MK. X" Stamos wrote.

Stamos' Instagram post got 53,000 likes in 19 hours. "Full House" fans remembered when Mary-Kate and her twin Ashley portrayed Michelle Tanner on the TV series that ran from 1987 until 1995. The twin sisters went on to star in two other sitcoms that had a short run, but lead to licensing deals that amassed them an estimated $137-million fortune by 2004.

Stamos is filming "Fuller House," which is a reunion of the original "Full House" cast minus the Olsen twins, with the new show airing on Netflix. Stamos gracefully acknowledged the Olsen twins' decline to participate in the reunion, reported the Inquisitr.

“I understand they’re in a different place and I wish them the best. I promise you will not be dissapointed [sic] with our reunion and spin off!!” Stamos tweeted.

"Fuller House" will premiere in 2016 on Netflix.
