The Super Stars registered their first win of the tournament on Monday. Ravi Bopara's all-round performance with bat and ball helped the struggling Sylhet franchise to register a thrilling four-wickets win against points table-topper the Comilla Victorians, according to bdnews24. Bopara scored 50 runs and took four wickets as well as becoming the first player to ever score a half century and take four wickets in a BPL 2015 match.

In a big boost to the Super Stars, Pakistani all-rounder and T20 skipper Shahid Afridi arrived in Bangladesh on Monday and will join the team to play in Wednesday's match.

On the other hand, the Vikings' disappointing run continues in the tournament. They lost their previous game against the Barisal Bulls on Monday.

"Kamran, Dilshan and Chigumbura - they are world-class cricketers. We can buy a player, not the performance and we expect them to perform. We had plans with [Kevon] Cooper as he loves to score through cover. I told Elton to bowl in the square area as it was a long boundary but we were unable to execute," skipper Tamin Iqbal said, according to the Dhaka Tribune.
