Kanye West popped the question to Kim Kardashian on Oct. 21, the night of her 33rd birthday, at the AT&T Park in San Francisco. The "Black Skinhead" rapper presented Kardashian with a 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz sparkler, the Huffington Post reports.

There aren't many pictures of the ring but Kardashian reportedly downsized from her last engagement ring from NBA star Kris Humphries. According to the Huffington Post both men went to the same designer for their engagement rings. Schwartz is a close family friend of the Kardashians and has been designing rings for them for years.

Humphries' ring to the reality star was 20.5-carat, compromised of a 16.21-carat rectangular-cut center stone with two 1.8-carat trapezoid stones on each side. It reportedly cost the basketball player $2 million, although sources close to Humphries said he got a steep discount on it.

According to the Daily Mail, West's ring cost around $1.6 million. The rapper and Humphries both also asked Kris Jenner for Kardashian's hand in marriage. The athlete even took the matriarch to help him pick out the perfect diamond.

The "Yeezus" rapper popped the question with the help of a jumbotron that read "PLEEEASE MARRY MEE!!," a 50-piece orchestra that played her favorite song and a fireworks display.

Humphries kept his proposal simpler by writing "will you marry me" in rose petals on her bed. The sweet moment was captured on camera for the family reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." After the reality star accepted, the two celebrated by having dinner with the Kardashian and Jenner clan.

Kardashian and Humphries' fairytale marriage ended after only 72 days as husband and wife and the divorce was finalized in June. Last week, the NBA star sold the engagement ring at Christie's for a reported $620,000, the Huffington Post reports.

"The ring is indeed Kris' property that he received through his marriage dissolution," his rep told E! News. "He has long-since moved on and is very much looking forward to a successful auction at Christie's on Tuesday, and of course to returning to the court this upcoming NBA season as a Boston Celtic."

The reality star was also apparently more than happy to part with the ring too.

"Kim has been waiting for the day he would auction it," a source told US Weekly. "Everyone always asked what Kim did with the ring - she silently gave it back over a year ago! And Kris waited until the divorce was final to sell it."
