Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially tying the knot after one of the most romantic proposals ever, but Baby North was nowhere in sight for her mother's special day.

Turns out West didn't want his little girl to take part of the proposal. According to PerezHilton.com, West was worried the cool air of the outdoor event would be too much for Nori. The new father was afraid his baby girl would catch a cold.

North is only four months old, so it is normal a father would take the precautions necessary to keep his child safe.

On Oct. 21, West planned with ultimate birthday present for his girlfriend, who turned 33-years-old.

According to TMZ, the "Yeezus" rapper rented out AT&T Park, home of MLB's San Francisco Giants. West blindfolded Kim and took her into the park where close friends and family were there to witness the proposal.

There was an orchestra there playing one of Kim's favorite songs by Lana Del Rey titled "Young and Beautiful" and they also played "Knock You Down" by Keri Hilson featuring Ne-Yo and West.

In the middle of the baseball field, West got down on one knee and popped the question with a 15 carat diamond ring. The couple has only been dating for 18 months.

No word yet about the rapper paid for the ring, but renting out the Giants' stadium did cost West about $35,000. So putting things into perspective, the ring mostly likely cost A LOT of money, but West can definitely afford to splurge.

Kim's family tweeted their congratulations after the proposal. Check out the Twitter posts below:

However, looks like there might already be some family drama brewing in the midst of a happy occasion. A source told Perezhilton.com Kris Jenner wants her son Rob to walk Kim down the isle, not almost ex-husband, Bruce Jenner:

"The drama starts here. Kris thinks it should be Rob now [she and Bruce] are separated and thinks it might be bad form to ask Bruce after the Kris Humphries wedding, but Kim and the girls are backing Bruce, they still see him as their father. Kris says Bruce may not even want the heat after the last circus."
