The college football regular season came to end for most teams on Saturday, and there has already been a ton of news and reports that have come out over this weekend regarding coaching positions across the college football landscape. Here are some of the latest updates and reports on college football coaching news around the country.

Iowa State To Hire Matt Campbell - Toledo head coach Matt Campbell will reportedly become Iowa State's next head football coach, according to ESPN's Adam Rittenberg. Campbell is expected to be in Ames, Iowa on Sunday when an official announcement will be made, according to Rittenberg. The decision to fire Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads came prior to this week's game, and the Cyclones fell to 3-9 on the season in a loss to West Virginia 30-6 on Saturday. Campbell turned Toledo's program into a dominant team, and they finished their season with a 9-2 record. Iowa State will reportedly pay a $200,000 buyout to bring Campbell in, according to Rittenberg. Campbell has a difficult task in front of him, as the Big 12 is stacked with talented programs. The Cyclones finished second to last in the conference standings, and it will likely take time for Campbell to turn this program around, as he will need to bring in his own recruits.

Mike London Resigns As Virginia Head Coach - Virginia athletic director Craig Littlepage announced London's resignation Sunday morning, according to Graham Watson of Yahoo Sports. "Mike London has been an outstanding representative of the University of Virginia," said Littlepage, via Yahoo Sports. "During his tenure, Mike created a positive culture for our student-athletes to develop as young men, who improved each year in the classroom and represented us very well in the community. Mike was a tremendous mentor for his players and many of our coaches. We are thankful for Mike's numerous contributions representing the University of Virginia athletics." The Cavaliers finished the season at 4-8 after a loss to Virginia Tech on Saturday 23-20. London's contract was set to expire after the 2016 season, and university will look to bring a new coach in that can bring them back to the top of the ACC. The Cavaliers only managed three conference wins this season, and they will look to find a coach that can turn this program around.
