More than 2,000 people gathered to attend the funeral service of Amanda Blackburn on Sunday. Blackburn was the wife of a pastor, who was killed in a home invasion in Indianapolis last week.

Christian rock songs filled the Traders Point Church in Whitestown, Ind., as funeral goers heard stories of 28-year-old Amanda as well as giving prayers to her husband Davey and their one-year-old son Weston.

Four churches had come together for Amanda's funeral, including the family's old church, NewSpring Church, in South Carolina, before they moved to Indianapolis to start Resonate Church, the Daily Mail U.K. reported.

"Some people have funerals, and then some people have celebrations. And in the 28 years that she was with us, Amanda gave us a lot to celebrate, would you agree?" Pastor Perry Noble of NewSpring Church said while delivering the eulogy.

Robin Byars, Amanda's mother, said of her daughter in a video: "Amanda was a gift from Day One. I'm not just exaggerating because I'm emotional right now and I'm sad. That girl didn't give me five minutes worth of trouble in her life," USA Today reported.

Amanda was murdered during a home invasion in her home in Indianapolis on Nov. 10. Davey discovered his dying wife after he returned from the gym.

Amanda was taken to Indiana University Methodist Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and died. Police are still on the hunt for her killer, HNGN previously reported.
