"Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes confessed on "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" that she has killed off a character because she didn't like the actor. This shocking reveal came in response a question from Wilmore, reported Just Jared.

"Have you ever killed off a character because you didn't like the actor? And extra bonus points, who was it? Don't even think about lying," Wilmore said.

“Yes… and I’m not naming names," the "Grey's Anatomy" executive producer and writer admitted as to how she handles an actor she's no longer a fan of, according to US Magazine.

The creator of "Private Practice," a spin-off of the medical TV drama "Grey's Anatomy," declined to engage in any scandalous speculation about who the actor or actors were. But fans can look back on the cut characters from her various hit shows and speculate.

Patrick Dempsey was the most recent character killed off of "Grey's Anatomy," noted People. Then there were the "Scandal" heartthrobs Colombus Short (Harrison Wright) and James Novak (Dan Bucatinsky) who were killed off, much to the audience's dismay. Other ill-fated characters were Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) and Denny Duquette (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) from "Grey's" and Sam Keating (Tom Verica) from "How To Get Away With Murder."

The television producer also discussed her new book with Wilmore. In "Year of Yes," she describes what happens when you say yes to everything. Rhimes said yes to everything "that I thought was terrifying, awful, gonna make me freak out."

"I think I have such a panic and a fear of public speaking or being in public. I'm really an introvert," she told Wilmore about her fear of talk show appearances.

The wildly successful writer revealed that the "Year of Yes" changed her life for the better.

"Everything feels possible now." Rhimes said. "Now that I know what happens when you say yes, how could I possibly go back to saying no?"

"Year of Yes" was published by Simon and Schuster and is available online and in print for all those who want to know "How to Dance It Out, Stand In the Sun and Be Your Own Person."
