Michael Lohan and his wife Kate Major have lost custody of their two children. A Florida judge granted custody of the couple's two kids, 2-year-old Landon and 10-month-old Logan, to Michael's mother last week, according to TMZ.

The Florida Department of Justice and Families took the children away and placed them in foster care after obtaining video footage of Lohan and Major having a blowout fight in front of the young boys.

At a hearing in a Florida family court on Nov. 3, the children's parents pleaded with the judge to reclaim custody of the kids, but the judge rejected their plea, ruling that Lohan and Major can only visit their children in the presence of a family services monitor. The judge also ordered the couple to take anger management courses, according to Wonderwall.

Major, 32, claimed that Lohan, 55, "choked her" and "slapped their son in the face" during the altercation, which took place on Oct. 11. However, Lohan was cleared of criminal abuse charges on Tuesday despite Major's assertion.

"They're saying I hit her and they want to take the kids away from me, but I have proof that I never touched her," Lohan said, according to Page Six. "I have a tape of her saying [I] never touched [her] and I showed it to [the cops]."

The pair, who got married just a year ago, have been going through a rough patch. In a separate incident on Nov. 2, Major called 911 in tears, claiming that Lohan was banging on the door of her Florida apartment. Earlier this year, Major was arrested for attacking Lohan in an inebriated state, as HNGN previously reported.

"Eventually I have to [file for divorce]," added Lohan. "There's a whole bunch of financial things before you settle ... I think I have grounds for an annulment anyway."
