Australia begins its campaign against India with a T20 match. Leading up to their eventual ODI series against India, the Australian side is confident with the practice they've gotten in thus far.
"We had a good training session in Mumbai and a few of the boys played the World T20 League," Australia skipper George Bailey said, via CricBuzz.com. "We came here a couple of days ago and have practised well. T20 is challenging and it is about playing our best cricket more often. Nic Maddinson is on debut, (Brad) Haddin, (Xavier) Doherty and (Clint) McKay come in."
For India, the team will once again lean on Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma in the top order. India's batting is solid, according to IB Times, with the likes of MS Dhoni and Virat Kholi.
"We are looking to bowl first. It looks like a decent track, so we will see how much they score," said Dhoni. "It has been a batting paradise here so we can expect a lot of runs. We have to improve our death bowling and there are other areas we can improve upon.
"Yuvraj (Singh) looks leaner and fitter, that's good. No need to tell the way he bats. Mishra, Shami, Rayudu and Unadkat miss out."
Australia is 4-3 against India in their seven T20 matches, according to IB Times.
