It seems Microsoft's newly announced flagship phones for Windows 10 will only be available in Microsoft stores and AT&T.

The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, which were major highlights in the recent Windows 10 event, will be available in November, as previously reported by HNGN.

The phones are the first Lumia products under Microsoft after the company acquired Nokia last year, and they are the company's latest attempt to keep Windows alive in the smartphone business.

AT&T said Tuesday that it would offer the Lumia 950 but left out information on if the Lumia 950 XL would also be available.

Other carriers, however, like Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint, have not expressed intentions of selling either of the two phones, despite Microsoft's statement that the deal with AT&T is not exclusive and its doors are open for other carriers to sell one, if not both, Lumia smartphones, according to CNET.

AT&T has been giving the strongest support for Windows-based phones. Despite the tandem, sales of said phones are still far from being on par with other more popular mobile devices. The lack of interest from other carriers is not at all a good sign for the future of the flagship phones, PC World reported.
