A blast from the past is headed DiNozzo's way on "NCIS" and it could turn his love life upside down.

Scottie Thompson will return this season as Tony's (Michael Weatherly) ex-girlfriend, Jeanne Benoit, according to TVLine. The daughter of international arms dealer René Benoit a.k.a. La Grenouille (Armand Assante) hasn't been seen since her father's body was recovered in season five.

Thompson will first appear in November and could return for multiple episodes.

After she learned of DiNozzo's real occupation, Jeanne left him a letter asking him to choose between her or his job at NCIS. When La Grenouille's body washed up months later, she then accused Tony of killing her father.

In their final exchange, she asked Tony if any of what they shared together was real. He told her no, but he may rethink that answer when she comes back on the scene.

DiNozzo recently hit a rough patch with his girlfriend Zoe Keates (Marisol Nichols) and rumors continue to swirl about Ziva's (Cote de Pablo) return after Tony left her in Israel two years ago.

Thompson and Weatherly shared several photos from set on Oct. 6. She also tweeted her excitement about the reunion.

"NCIS" airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
