Congratulations to soon-to-be parents Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin. E! News confirmed that the "Gotham" co-stars are expecting their first child together.

The 36-year-old Brazilian-born actress reportedly hid her baby bump under a Reem Acra lace gown she wore to the 2015 Emmy Awards after party on Sunday, which is also where she and McKenzie, 37, made their first public appearance as a couple.

A source told People that the couple are "very happy about this news. Everyone is very excited." Another source told Us Weekly that McKenzie and Baccarin are not only dating but also living together. The actress is reportedly in her first trimester.

This will be first child for the "O.C." alum and the second for Baccarin, who shares 23-month-old son Julius with her ex-husband, writer/director Austin Chick. Baccarin filed for divorce from Chick in July and asked the court for full custody of their son because she is pregnant and cannot fly back and forth between New York and Los Angeles. Morena lives in New York while her husband is based in LA.

Baccarin joined the cast of "Gotham" during the second half of season one. She plays Dr. Leslie Thompkins, the new love interest of McKenzie's leading character, Police Commissioner James Gordon. No word on how Baccarin's pregnancy will affect the show.

"Gotham" airs on Fox every Monday at 8 p.m. EDT.
